What it does

Every call answered, even when nobody can pick up

An AI receptionist answers your phone and messages the way a trained front-desk person would: it greets the caller, works out what they need, answers from your own policies, books the appointment and brings a person in when the call needs one. It doesn't take a message and leave the follow-up to you.

Meet the KeyesCode AI Receptionist

Answers on the First Ring

Day or night, weekends and holidays — callers get a conversation, not voicemail or a phone tree.

Books Into Your Calendar

Offers real openings, books the slot and sends the caller a text confirmation.

Captures Every Lead

Every call is transcribed and logged with who called, what they wanted and how ready they were to buy.

Hands Off to a Person

Warm transfer or a scheduled callback for the calls that need your team, with the context attached.

Answers From Your Policies

A knowledge base built from your website, documents and FAQs — it asks or escalates rather than inventing an answer.

Connects to Your Systems

Calendar, CRM, help desk and notifications, so every booking and lead lands where your team already works.

The service

What we set up, and what the product handles

The KeyesCode AI Receptionist is our own product, and its features, demo and plans live on its own site. This page is about the service around it: what it takes to get an AI receptionist answering your business's phone well, and what we do when your setup needs more than the standard configuration.

Most of the work isn't the AI. It's writing down how your front desk actually handles calls — which services you offer and where, how appointments are booked and what buffers they need, which questions have fixed answers, which callers must reach a person, and what happens after hours. We turn that into the receptionist's knowledge base and rules, connect it to your calendar and CRM, and test it on role-play calls and edge cases before it answers a real customer.

It's built for businesses where a missed call is a missed job: home services and trades, dental and medical practices, legal and real estate offices, agencies, repair shops, and any team that fields the same questions all day. It works as the first answer on your main line, as overflow during busy hours, or as after-hours coverage only — many businesses start with after-hours and expand once they've reviewed the transcripts.

It isn't the right tool for every call. If most of your calls are emergencies that need a licensed professional on the line, or your policies aren't written down anywhere yet, we'll say so and suggest a narrower start, such as FAQs and routing only. And when you need something the product doesn't do — an integration with an in-house system, a workflow specific to your industry, voice and chat sharing one brain with your own app — we build that as custom AI automation.

A good fit if

  • Calls go to voicemail while your team is with customers or on jobs.
  • A large share of calls are bookings or the same handful of questions.
  • You need after-hours or weekend coverage without hiring for it.
  • You book through Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly or a system with an API.
  • You want a person to take over the calls that genuinely need one.

Who we build for

Built for teams stuck between options

The signals we look for, the painful realities we hear, and the way we typically resolve them.

01

Home services and trades

Pain

Crews are on jobs all day, so calls hit voicemail and the customer books whoever answers first.

Solution

The receptionist answers, checks the service area, books the visit and texts the office a summary.

02

Dental and medical practices

Pain

The front desk is checking patients in while the phone rings with scheduling calls and insurance questions.

Solution

Routine scheduling and FAQs are handled on the phone, and anything clinical goes straight to staff.

03

Professional services

Pain

Legal, real estate and agency offices lose new inquiries after 5pm and on weekends.

Solution

After-hours calls are qualified and booked as consultations, with the details waiting in your CRM next morning.

04

Teams with on-call staff

Pain

After-hours calls either go unanswered or wake someone up for a question that could have waited until morning.

Solution

Routine calls are answered and booked; urgent ones follow your on-call escalation rules to the right person.

Setup

From kickoff to answering your phone

Most businesses are live in under two weeks after kickoff. Setups with custom integrations run as a longer engagement.

  1. 0130–60 minutes

    Discovery call

Your goals, call volume, services and service area, calendars, and the rules for when a call must reach a person.

  2. 02

    Knowledge & integrations

We draft the knowledge base from your website and documents for your approval, then connect your calendar, CRM or help desk, and notification channels.

  3. 03

    Testing

Role-play calls and edge cases — accents, changed minds, wrong numbers, upset callers. You review the transcripts and approve the scripts before launch.

  4. 04

    Phased go-live

Start on after-hours or a tracking number, review real calls, then move to overflow and full coverage. We keep tuning as new questions come in.

Custom builds with deeper integrations run four to six weeks from discovery to go-live, including post-launch tuning.

Why choose us

Built for ownership, scalability, and the long haul

Speed is the feature: the business that answers first usually wins the job.

Coverage without headcount

Nights, weekends and peak hours answered without adding shifts or paying for an answering service that only takes messages.

Under your control

It acts only through logged, approved functions, discloses that it's an AI assistant, and never takes card numbers over the phone.

People where it matters

Clear escalation rules and warm transfers with a summary, so your team picks up where the AI left off.

Technology stack

Opinionated, but not married to a stack

We default to a tight set of tools we trust in production, and pick the right one for each layer.

FAQ

Questions before we start building?

What teams typically ask before kicking off an engagement.

Still unsure what you need?

Book a 30-minute technical discovery call. We'll help you clarify scope and the right next step.

Book a discovery call

What is a 24/7 AI receptionist?

It's software that answers your business phone and messages at any hour like a trained front-desk person: it understands what the caller needs, answers from your policies, books appointments into your calendar, logs the lead and transfers to a person when needed. Unlike voicemail it responds, and unlike a traditional answering service it completes the booking instead of taking a message.

Will it replace our front desk?

No. It handles first-line calls, after-hours coverage and the repetitive questions so your team can focus on the conversations that need them. Calls that need a person are transferred or scheduled for a callback with the details attached.

Can we keep our existing phone number?

Yes. You can forward your existing number to the receptionist — as the first answer, after a few rings, or only after hours — or port the number, depending on your setup.

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. The receptionist introduces itself as an AI assistant and offers a person whenever a caller asks for one. In our experience callers care far more about getting an answer quickly than about who gives it.

What happens when it doesn't know the answer?

It answers only from your approved knowledge base and the results of its integrations. When a policy is missing or a question is out of scope it asks a clarifying question, offers a callback or transfers to your team rather than guessing.

Does it speak languages other than English?

Yes. Common languages such as Spanish are available, and we configure the languages your callers need during setup.

How much does an AI receptionist cost?

Pricing depends on call volume, channels and how it connects to your calendar and systems, so we quote it on request rather than publishing a single figure. Custom integrations are scoped separately. We won't promise a number of booked jobs — we'll show you the mechanism and let your own call volume make the case.

How quickly can it be live?

Most businesses are live in under two weeks after kickoff, often starting with after-hours coverage. Custom builds with deeper integrations take four to six weeks from discovery to go-live.

Ready to build?

No pressure. We'll help you clarify scope, budget, and the best technical path forward.
